Roundtable 2: News from Congresses – Therapeutic Innovation was moderated by several members of the Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP), including Dr. Cristina Rodrigues.
The specialist in Thoracic Surgery, and member of the GECP Board, gave a positive assessment of the session, which highlighted the main advances in lung cancer treatment.
Regarding immunotherapy and targeted therapies, she emphasized that they “are offering the best chances of long-term survival and, combined with other therapeutic strategies and local interventions, such as surgery and radiotherapy, have contributed to improving the prognosis of our patients.”
