Organized by the Portuguese Association of Interventional Radiology (APRI), the 1st edition of the National Congress of Interventional Radiology (APRI 2021) had the presence and participation of members of the Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP).
“Lung Cancer – What IR should also know” was the theme of the roundtable, moderated by Dr. Tiago Pereira, intervention radiologist at the Hospital Center of Vila Nova de Gaia/Espinho (CHVNG/E), and by Dr. .ª Ana Barroso, pulmonologist at CHVNG/E, who also shared the “Visão do Clínico”. The “Vision of the Anatomo-Pathologist” was also announced, from the perspective of Dr. Ana Ribeiro, anatomopathologist at Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte.
Three medical specialties represented in a session marked by sharing and the opportunity for learning by all, and which demonstrated the relevance of multidisciplinarity in the management of patients with thoracic tumors.
Because only as a team we can achieve the best results for our patients.
