World Food Day
Today, October 16, is World Food Day.
In this context, the Lung Cancer Study Group invited Dr. Elsa Madureira, a nutritionist at the University Hospital Center of São João (Porto), to answer some questions related to nutrition and lung cancer.
Is there a relationship between diet and lung cancer? Will food have an impact on the prevention of lung cancer through nutrition? Is it possible to alleviate the side effects experienced after the different types of lung cancer treatment?
In addition to answering these questions, the specialist in Oncology Nutrition also left some tips for healthy eating, both for the prevention of lung cancer and for the context of the patient under treatment.
