On June 18th and 19th, 2026, NOVA Medical School – Carcavelos Campus will host OncoInsights Lung 2026 and the satellite course “Pleural Medicine: From Fundamentals to Hands-On Practice.”
Both initiatives are scientifically sponsored by the Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP).
On June 18th, the hands-on course, coordinated by Dr. Maria Alvarenga and Dr. Daniel Cabral, offers intensive training combining theory and practical stations on thoracic ultrasound and drainage techniques.
On June 19th, OncoInsights Lung 2026 presents itself as a dynamic and multidisciplinary meeting dedicated to the latest innovations in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. Aimed at physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, the event prioritizes critical reflection and the sharing of experiences, featuring an interactive session for the discussion of clinical cases presented by participants.
