The city of Porto will host the international scientific meeting “Treatment of Lung Cancer: Controversies in 2026” on November 6th and 7th, 2026, at ICBAS – School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. This important initiative has the scientific support of the Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP).
The event will bring together a prestigious international panel of experts in Thoracic Oncology and Pulmonology to discuss the most pressing controversies in the treatment of this pathology. With a program based on interactive sessions and pro-con debates, the meeting aims to promote a critical analysis of the evidence and clarify areas of clinical uncertainty.
Fundamental topics will be addressed, from early-stage strategies to advanced disease and small cell carcinoma, focusing on the integration of innovative therapies and new decision algorithms.
