The last day of the 10th GECP Congress / 1st Portuguese Lung Cancer Congress was marked by the session “Treating the patient behind cancer”, moderated by several specialists, including Dr. Bárbara Parente.
The specialist took stock of the session referring to the various approaches that were discussed, including alternative therapies for patients with neuropathic pain, early palliative care and also the rights and duties of patients.
“It was a very rich table, with the presentation of various aspects in the area of therapies and patient support, themes that should be increasingly present in all these types of meetings”, comments the pulmonologist and member of the General Assembly of GECP.
