The “Round Table 2: GECP Stories” was attended by several special guests, including Dr. Fernando Barata, a specialist in Pulmonology at ULS Coimbra.
During his speech, Dr. Fernando Barata looked back on the last 25 years of the Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP), highlighting important milestones such as clinical trials, conferences and the scientific journal. “The way we managed to develop all these initiatives in a truly multidisciplinary manner is something that fills all the directors who have passed through GECP with pride, leaving us with a sense of mission accomplished”, he said.
The specialist also highlighted the most significant milestones of this trajectory, the pillars that have guided the group over the years and shared his vision on the future prospects of GECP.
