Lung cancer was the most common in the world in 2022 and the main cause of death from cancer, followed by breast and colorectal cancer, revealed the World Health Organization (WHO).
The resurgence of lung cancer as the most common throughout the world is “probably” related to the persistent consumption of tobacco in Asia, the organization announced, in a meeting with the press days before World Cancer Day (4th of February).
