Dr. David Araújo, a member of the Scientific Committee of the Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP), signed an exclusive opinion article on the Health News website, which reflects on the importance of prevention, screening and therapeutic options available in combating lung cancer.
In the article, it also highlights the determining role of smoking, the main risk factor of the disease, and underlines the relevance of health literacy as one of the fundamental pillars for prevention, early diagnosis and the empowerment of the population in the face of the disease.
