?In the scope of the virtual edition of the Spring Meetings 2021, which took place from May 20 to 22, the Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP) received the 1st Prize in the category of best posters, worth 750 \u20ac.<\/p>\n

\u201cMeans and Technologies in the Approach of Lung Cancer Patients in Portugal – Lung Cancer Study Group Survey\u201d is the name of the winning work, whose first author is Dr. Fernanda Estevinho, oncologist doctor at Pedro Hispano Hospital – Local Health Unit of Matosinhos, which allowed \u201cexpanding knowledge about available technologies\u201d for these patients and \u201cidentifying future opportunities, such as increasing accessibility to some exams and clinical trials\u201d.<\/p>\n

For this study, the GECP prepared an online questionnaire with 47 questions, which was sent to Portuguese lung cancer treatment centers.<\/p>\n
