The pulmonologist explained that &#8220;for a long time, women did not smoke, but then the number of female smokers increased.&#8221; She adds that &#8220;it takes a period of time for the effects of tobacco to begin to be felt.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Ana Figueiredo also emphasized the impact of new forms of smoking, which have increased among young people and adolescents, both men and women.
