Gabriela Fernandes, member of the Board of Directors of the Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP), was one of the moderators of &#8220;Round Table 1: Malignant pleural effusion&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The session addressed topics such as the prevalence of malignant pleural effusion, the main associated symptoms and the significant impact of this condition on patients&#8217; quality of life. The diagnostic difficulties inherent to this pathology were also discussed, as well as clinical decisions regarding its palliative approach. The expert clarifies that &#8220;there is no single, generalized solution for all cases&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Professor.
