RESEARCH ACTIVITY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Develop a dynamic that allows studies in the area of thoracic tumors to be carried out at the initiative of GECP members.<\/p>\n

Support and participate in initiatives of other groups, societies or entities for the elaboration of transversal and multidisciplinary studies in the area of thoracic tumors<\/p>\n

Create a Scientific Award and a Grant, in the areas of academic formation, research and \/ or acquisition of new techniques.<\/p>\n

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Complete and spread, either in publication or on the websites, the national guidelines for diagnostic and treatment of chest tumors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Streamline the Journal of the Lung Cancer Study Group, evolving into a more comprehensive format that reflects the Portuguese reality, and open to all who want to participate in it.<\/p>\n

SOCIAL AWARENESS ACTIVITY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Improve and streamline the GECP website in real time and with greater interactivity.<\/p>\n

Carry out lung cancer dissemination activities in the context of prevention, combating risk factors, and alert to signs and symptoms of thoracic oncological disease and its relationship with smoking.<\/p>\n
