GECP releases video with testimonies of hope on World Lung Cancer Day

Every year, in Portugal, more than 5 thousand people are diagnosed with lung cancer. As important as the early diagnosis and the adequate treatment for each patient and the specificity of the tumor, is the fight against the stigma experienced by patients, which can and must be done by everyone.
In this sense, the GECP launches, on World Lung Cancer Day, an awareness-raising video that makes known up close the stories of Maria Antónia Silva, Branca Ribas and Maria da Glória Duarte, three women with an active life and cancer of the lung.
The GECP challenges all people with lung cancer to join this movement and share their story using a hashtag #ocancrodopulmaonaomedefine, leaving a message of hope and optimism to everyone.
