The Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP) emerged in 2000 as a result of a widespread need to join up efforts in promoting knowledge in Pulmonary Oncology.<\/p>\n

We seek to grow in a multidisciplinary way, bringing together pneumologists, oncologists, thoracic surgeons, radioncologists, imaging specialists, pathologists and molecular biologists.<\/p>\n

We are a large family focused on the well-being of our patient. We maintain\u00a0a close relationship with other scientific groups or societies, universities and civil society organizations.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Nestes 25 anos realiz\u00e1mos v\u00e1rios estudos cl\u00ednicos multic\u00eantricos e multidisciplinares, promovemos duas reuni\u00f5es anuais e bianualmente realizamos o nosso congresso, colabor\u00e1mos na elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de normas de orienta\u00e7\u00e3o cl\u00ednica, cri\u00e1mos e distribu\u00edmos informa\u00e7\u00e3o para os nossos doentes. Cri\u00e1mos e mantemos uma revista peri\u00f3dica exclusivamente dedicada \u00e0 oncologia pulmonar. Cri\u00e1mos e agora renov\u00e1mos o nosso site procurando partilhar e dar visibilidade ao\u00a0 trabalho que dia a dia realizamos em Portugal no \u00e2mbito desta patologia.<\/p>\n
