In the video review of the 2nd Portuguese Lung Cancer Congress, 11th GECP Congress, Dr. Ana Figueiredo expresses a feeling of duty accomplished and satisfaction with the event. “It was a very well attended and lively Congress, as usual, and the theme of ‘Personalization and Multidisciplinary’ was achieved, not least due to the multidisciplinary nature of the people present”, begins by referring to the President of the GECP Board.
The specialist highlighted “multidisciplinarity in patient care in terms of quality of life and monitoring” as central themes of the Congress, as well as the lecture ‘Taking Care of Ourselves to be able to Care’, which emphasized the importance of self-care for healthcare professionals. The pulmonologist at ULS Coimbra also highlighted the round table on lung cancer exams, which also generated great interest from participants.
